We are a multi-artist cohort project, thanks to the Transformative Arts Fund (TAF) from the City of Cleveland. The TAF awarded seven artist-led public art projects, which required collaboration with Cleveland-based institutional partners, to create innovative, thought-provoking, and inclusive public art projects in various neighborhoods throughout the City.

Our project, Impart216, is an initiative to empower six teams of local artists and the Mt. Pleasant community through mural making and education. Our driving motivation is to ignite a spark of reclamation while honoring the history and authenticity of the neighborhood. We are aiming to foster empowerment and collaboration between emerging and seasoned artists in Cleveland through murals in the Mt. Pleasant-Union neighborhood.
